NJ Democrats Reveal Paid Family Leave Expansion Plan
Yesterday, Senate Democrats revealed a plan to expand New Jersey’s Paid Family Leave Law. The proposal would increase benefit levels and available time-off for workers in New Jersey who need to take care of a sick family member or loved one.

House Passes Resolution to Repeal OSHA Worker Safety Rule
Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H. J. Res 83, which seeks to repeal an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rule that clarifies an employer’s responsibility to maintain accurate records of serious work-related injuries and illnesses. This resolution will make it impossible for OSHA to ensure that injury and illness records are complete and accurate and undermine workplace health and safety.
